## v1.2.009 — 2026-06-20
- improvement: **Voices are now loudness-matched across engines, so switching voices no longer jumps the volume up or down.** Some voices were normalized to a consistent loudness while others (including the default voice and several cloned/clone-based voices) played at their raw level — an audible step of several dB when comparing them. All voices are now brought to the same target loudness using a transparent, gain-only adjustment (no compression or saturation), so it does not distort cloned voices. The volume slider continues to scale on top of this.
- fix: **Voice adjustments (volume, speed, pitch, EQ, …) now take effect on every voice and on every synthesis path** — chat replies, the "Test voice" button, and the clone-window preview — including the default voice and OmniVoice. Previously some of these previews used a separate path that bypassed the settings, so moving the volume slider produced no audible change for those voices even though chat replies honored it.
- fix: Extreme speed values are clamped consistently across all voices; interrupting the pet mid-sentence now stops the current voice request more promptly.
