Since releasing the Demo, we’ve been hard at work adding controller support to Litany. Making the controls feel great on a gamepad has been a main priority for us so everyone can play however they prefer, including Steam Deck!
View game pageA big part of this update also went directly into Steam Deck optimization. While we don't have the official "Deck Verified" badge quite yet, we’ve thoroughly refined the UI and performance to ensure the game is 100% playable and crisp on handhelds.

Full Controller Support!
Litany now supports using controllers! We’ve been working on this for the last month, almost exclusively on this change, to make sure the game plays comfortably. We would love to hear your feedback on it, as we want to make sure it feels as great as playing with Mouse and Keyboard.
Considering this update, we also tackled a bit of the Steam Deck support. We don’t have the verification badge yet, but we worked hard to make sure the game runs smoothly on it as well, making UX changes to guarantee good readability on a small screen.
There are also 2 new options on our settings menu, one to change controller glyphs, and another to tweak controller vibration.
Other
Attack Color: Effects related to Flat Attack (ex: Grant +10 Attack) will have a slightly different color (yellow instead of orange).
0 Attack Animation: If you hit 0 damage, a different animation will take place.
Credits: We were not showing anyone’s names! Now there’s a credit screen in our settings menu, check it out and follow those folks on social media, appreciated!
Next Steps: We know that this update doesn’t sound super exciting to folks who don’t care about controller or portable computers, but it was a slightly complex update that we had to do eventually. It was great to tackle right after releasing the demo so that we could take a break from the gameplay for a few weeks. Now we are fully energized to return to the game itself, and with a lot of cool things ahead of us. Stay tuned!
