Hello dear dreamers, players, and adventurers!
Over the past weeks, we have been working hard on Obscura - A Sleep Worth Dying For and reached many major and minor milestones along the way.
You can now play and test the latest beta version with us: 0.7.7a
One of the biggest milestones was the complete overhaul of the physics in our engine. This will serve as the foundation for many future improvements, new mechanics, and exciting content.
Summary:
- Implemented new building blocks for level design
- Reworked the internal level editor to create even better levels
- Updated older levels (design, enemies, items, and more)
- Implemented the second iteration of Steam achievements
- Precision mode no longer targets defeated enemies
- Increased the range of the Shadow Dash
- Expanded the Lightning Sai with area damage and chain damage to match its FX
- Added a new burn effect and matching damage to the Fire Sai
- Altars have received beautiful new atmospheric auras
And that is only part of what is new - as always, we are very excited to hear your feedback.
With the latest weapon updates, our plans for different playstyles such as CC, DMG, and HEAL are now almost fully realized.
Next, we will continue working hard on the game to prepare the DEMO for Steam Next Fest and present it in the best possible state.
If you would like to continue supporting us, please show our game to your friends, add Obscura to your wishlist, and most importantly: follow the game. Thank you very much for your support!
Have fun
