'Tourney' is one of the core contents in Game of Thrones: Kingsroad Season 2. As an Area Event that opens at specific times, it provides a chance to experience the Tourney in the world. Additionally, you can earn various rewards like House Sigils, Dragons, and Season Tokens, making it content you should not miss.
Daily Ticket Recharge: 1 Ticket charged daily
Entry requires 4,500 Coppers and a 'Season Area Event Reward Count'. Rewards recharge once per day, up to a maximum of seven times. Please note that they will no longer recharge beyond 7 counts. For reference, Season Area Event Reward Counts and existing Area Event Reward Counts are treated separately.

Tactics First Smart selection guarantees 50% success
A Tourney match basically consists of 2 sets with up to 5 rounds each, where every round features a 'Tactics Selection' and a 'QTE'. Depending on your tactics selections and QTE success, a match that could last up to 5 rounds can be drastically shortened to 3. In other words, minimizing play time requires careful calculation starting from the very first step when selecting your tactics.
There are 5 available tactics: 'Heavy Strike', 'Precision Strike', 'Counterattack', 'Knight's Strike', and 'Squire's Rebellion'. Each tactic possesses a unique attribute, and these attributes interact in an intuitive rock-paper-scissors dynamic. The 3 basic elements (Fire, Water, and Grass) counter one another: Fire beats Grass, Grass beats Water, and Water beats Fire. Meanwhile, the special 'Light' and 'Dark' attributes add strategic depth. Light is strong against all 3 basic elements (Fire, Water, Grass) but vulnerable to Dark. Conversely, Dark is weak against the 3 basic elements but holds an advantage over Light.

For the first round, 'Knight's Strike' (Light element) is highly recommended. Since it has only one counter attribute while holding an advantage over three others, it is the safest choice to gain the upper hand when you have no prior information on your opponent's playstyle.
Starting from the second round, plan your choices around the rule that a tactic cannot be used more than once per match. If you predict your opponent will attempt to counter the tactic you used in the previous round, you can safely choose a tactic that would normally be vulnerable to it. For example, if your opponent used a Fire-element Heavy Strike in round one, you can safely deploy a Grass-element Precision Strike in round two without the risk of being countered by Fire again.
The exception is when your opponent uses a Light or Dark tactic. In this case, remain calm and select any of the basic elements like Fire, Water, or Grass. Lastly, avoid using 'Squire's Rebellion' (Dark element), as it is vulnerable to three different attributes, making it risky to deploy.

4 QTE Types Master the 4 patterns for faster clears
Select your tactics to proceed to the QTE phase. First, complete the initial QTE by pressing the keys in time with the sequence 3 times. If playing on a keyboard, press the SPACE key 3 times. As long as you keep an eye out for the success zone shrinking with each input, you can clear it easily.
Next, three different types of QTEs will appear in random order without repeating: "Press 2 times within the time limit," "Press 3 times within the time limit," and "Press on time." The corresponding keyboard keys are always Q, E, and F. If you find it difficult to hit the exact key at the right moment, try pressing all three keys at once. Since pressing incorrect keys does not trigger a failure, timing all three keys together will still result in a success as long as your timing is correct.
