The Story AVG + Baseball Text-Sim game 【Baseball Scouter】
is officially available now as of April 29, 10:00 AM [GMT+8]!
We are offering a -10% launch discount for the first 14 days.
Full Version V1.0 includes:
2 Initial story-driven players to choose from.
24 Scoutable story-driven players.
8 Main story-driven players (including 4 players divided into 2 mutually exclusive sets; choosing one means letting go of the other).
Gameplay Duration:
One playthrough lasts 24 turns (weeks).
If the team reaches the Playoffs, the season is extended by 2 turns (weeks).
Includes multiple ending scenarios upon completing the season.
New Mechanics & Balancing:
Player Carryover: Inherit 1 player to join your team at the start (unlocks after at least one save file is created).
Difficulty Adjustment: "Standard Mode" from the DEMO is now renamed "Hard Mode" (content remains the same).
Easy Mode Buff: Initial player stat bonus adjusted from +80 to +50 in the Full Version.
Visual & UI Updates:
Updated transition art for Scouting, Team Drills, and P. Training.
Added illustrative images to the Initial Tutorial flow.
Stats Interface: Added "Detailed Statistics" and "League Leaderboards."
Roster Management: Improved the UI for Active/Farm and Lineup adjustments. Instead of clicking a button after selecting a player, you can now click the player’s name to swap positions instantly.
Quality of Life: Added Esc key support to close various menus; the Spacebar can now be used to progress through story dialogue.
Formula Tweaks:
Stealing: Adjusted the formula to better reflect realistic league averages.
Walks (BB): Added a minimum guaranteed walk rate; a batter's Contact stat now slightly increases the walk probability.
Fielding: Revised fly ball distribution; Infielders will now handle a portion of fly balls previously assigned only to the Outfield.
Other:
The font files for the 5 supported languages (TC, SC, EN, JP, KR) total 229MB. This is one of the primary reasons for the game's file size. (Our apologies—with so much script, there were a lot of characters to cover!)
If you encounter any bugs during your playthrough, please leave a comment under this announcement or in the Steam Community Hub. I will investigate and address them as quickly as possible.
We welcome all interested players to pick up the game! If you have any doubts about the gameplay or content, the DEMO will remain available after launch, so feel free to try it out first!
