Hello everyone!
Since the Steam store page was approved and our first log was published on December 2nd, the game has made significant progress. I’ve organized the latest updates in this log!
Steam Next Fest Registration
Initially, I wasn't particularly keen on the February Next Fest, as I wasn't sure I could provide a playable demo by late January.
However, after completing the last major system—the Lineup System—on the 15th of this month, my confidence surged. In short, if everything goes smoothly and meets my expectations, the game will participate in the Steam Next Fest starting February 24, 2026! (In theory, at least.)
December Development Progress
Since there hasn't been a playable version released yet, I’m currently the only one who knows how far we've come. According to my records, I completed the following this month:
Team Training System
Player Training System
Contract Termination System
Active/Farm Roster Registration System
Lineup Management System (This took the longest—over a week!)
Schedule Display and Interface
Addition and refinement of basic game details
Initial implementation of the Multi-language version
Localized Store Screenshots
After completing the core systems mentioned above, I’ve spent the time from the 15th until today filling in basic game details.
This includes the preliminary multi-language implementation. Currently, I plan to support: Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, English, Japanese, and Korean. If the videos and screenshots on the Steam store are correctly displayed in your preferred language, it means I’ve done it right!
I have gone back and forth to ensure that the text remains legible across all different languages within the interface.
(Of course, whether the content translated by AI from the information I provided actually makes sense to native speakers is another story...)
However, as mentioned before, I cannot guarantee 100% linguistic accuracy for languages other than Chinese. Therefore, the Steam store page will not officially list these as supported languages for the time being. Please keep this in mind.
Remaining Development Tasks
For me, the game is now entering its final phase. This includes scriptwriting, data population, and adding finer details.
The remaining tasks are as follows:
Main Story Script
Additional mechanics required for the main story (if any)
Recruitable character data and scripts
Additional mechanics for recruitable characters (if any)
Game balancing
Early, mid, and late-game experience flow (integrated with the above mechanics)
Miscellaneous (e.g., rival team member events?)
The workload is still heavy, and I need to have a playable demo ready by late January or mid-February for the Next Fest. My goal is to reach at least "30% completion" for the demo. Although this isn't a massive, over-ambitious project, I still pray that everything goes smoothly (and that I don't run into any writer's block!).
That’s all for this development log. I hope this information gives you a better understanding of the game!
Thank you for your support!
