Challenger Mode
The first major update for Black Hole: Farmageddon - 2.0 is here!
To celebrate the release of Challenger Mode, the game is now 25% off during the sale.
Since Endless Mode had only so much variety and linear grind, we've decided to add a new challenge mode to twist things up;
Each wave a new rule and win conditions will be set
After completing a wave, choose an upgrade that will help you survive the next one
Failed? Keep all your upgrades and start from the most recent checkpoint (every 10 waves)
Too easy? Cling to life in Hardcore Challenger where defeat means losing all your progress and upgrades (no checkpoints)!
Quality of Life
We listened to your feedback and implemented some long awaited QoL changes:
In Endless (and now Challenger) run auto-end when the win condition has been fulfilled
Lowered max speed of black hole since it was to difficulty to control (you guys really don't like race cars : ( )
More readable upgrade stat display of Endless/Challenger
Some performance optimizations
Some stuff you probably won't even notice : )
Again thanks so much for all the support and feedback. I'm super excited to see so many of you enjoying the game and I want to make your experience even better!
