You can now place blocks back into the world! Any mineable tile you collect — dirt, stone, ores, moon rocks, all of them — can be dragged to your hotbar and placed back down.
All 23 tile types are placeable (Earth and Moon)
Aim with your cursor and fire to place — an energy beam preview shows exactly where your block will go
Ghost block turns red when placement is invalid
Placed blocks are fully mineable again — nothing is permanent
Build upward into the sky — no height restrictions
Works on both Earth and Moon
Placement sound effect for satisfying feedback
🪵 Decorative Backgrounds — NEW
Ever wanted to build a house, a base, or a cozy underground hideout? Now you can.
Wood Background panels are available at Bill's Shop for 100 coins each
Drag them to your hotbar and place them just like blocks
Backgrounds render behind blocks and the player — perfect for walls, floors, and rooms
No collision — purely decorative, walk right through them
Place them over existing tiles or in open air — total creative freedom
💾 Full Save/Load Support
Placed blocks persist through save and load — your builds are safe
Decorative backgrounds are also fully saved and restored
Everything resets properly on new runs
