Hello, players!
We are thrilled to announce that our 2D Metroidvania action-adventure, Mask of Soul, is officially participating in Steam Next Fest from February 23 to March 2!
Mask of Soul takes place in a chaotic era where the boundary between the living and the underworld has crumbled. You will step into the shoes of 'Cheong-o Chasa', the guardian of the underworld. Your mission is to hunt down escaped spirits and restore balance to a world plagued by demons awakened under the eerie red moon.
In this demo, you’ll immerse yourself in a captivating Eastern Dark Fantasy world inspired by traditional Korean mythology. Here are the core features to keep an eye on:
Precise Parrying System: Master the art of the blade—feel the impact of perfectly timed parries followed by devastating counterattacks.
Mask-Swapping Mechanics: Adapt to any situation by switching between various masks, each granting unique skills that are vital for survival.
Explore a Twisted Realm: Traverse the hauntingly beautiful yet distorted landscapes that lie between life and death to uncover hidden secrets.
As developers, nothing inspires us more than watching you play. If you're ready to test your mettle, dive into the demo now and claim your spot on the leaderboard!
Your interest and feedback are what drive Mask of Soul to reach its full potential. If you enjoy our unique take on the Korean-themed Metroidvania, please Wishlist the game and share the news with your fellow gamers!
We’ll see you at the threshold of the underworld. Have a fantastic Steam Next Fest!
