Hello everyone!
The launch went far better than I ever could have anticipated, and I cannot express how grateful I am to all of you for playing Author Sim. Seeing folks enjoy this little game that I've poured all my heart into creating means the world to me. Thank you so much for being here!
This is going to be a very exciting week for Author Sim! Lots of things are under way:
Author Sim Update (v1.1.0)
To celebrate the release of the Supporter Pack, several new cosmetic items have been added to Author Sim, including the "Under the Sea" wallpaper, and the "Stars" and "Seasonal Hats" animated wallpaper elements. These cosmetic items can be unlocked through the money upgrade branch of the Items Skill Tree.
"Seasonal Hats" is a new type of cosmetic item that gives Essy a themed hat during certain holiday months to make it a little easier to keep track of the passage of time in the game.
Another major addition is the "Comfort Options" feature added to the Mini-Games Skill Tree. The new "Stop Time" and "Extend Time" options allow you to remove or extend each mini-game's time limit. If either option is active, the quality score is also used as the time score, allowing you to take as much time as you need without penalty. The new "Auto Typing" option allows you to click on text to automatically enter it into the text input box.
For a full list of changes, feel free to check out the v1.1.0 patch notes here.
