View game pageTo celebrate the release of the Supporter Pack, Author Sim has received a major v1.1.0 update featuring new cosmetic items and mini-game comfort options. Here’s a closer look at some of the changes:
Added new cosmetic items, including the "Under the Sea" wallpaper, as well as the "Stars" and the "Seasonal Hats" animated wallpaper elements
"Seasonal Hats" are placed on Essy during specific holiday months, making it easier for players to keep track of the passage of time in the game
All new cosmetic items are unlocked through the money upgrade branch in the Items Skill Tree
Added "Comfort Options" to the Mini-Games Skill Tree
The new "Stop Time" and "Extend Time" options allow players to remove or extend each mini-game's time limit; if either option is active, the quality score is also used as the time score, allowing players to take as much time as they need without penalty
The new "Auto Typing" option allows players to click on text to automatically enter it into the text input box
Time stopped, time extended, and mouse click icons are displayed during the mini-games to indicate which comfort options are currently active
Added a small star garland to the books of tags with all synergies discovered in the bookshelf window
Added a click sound effect when hovering over skip mini-game button
Adjusted the quality scoring for the fanfiction mini-game
Fixed a rare graphical bug that incorrectly displayed the bar graphs in the final book sales report and final fanfiction report emails
Revised the formatting of the synergy lists displayed in the bookshelf and The Dictionary of Literary Tropes
Revised the main text of events and the win screen
Revised the description of "Jack of All Trades" achievement to clarify that each writing skill only needs to be rank 2 or above to obtain the achievement
