This update includes the following three changes:
Added a three-round match option
Added an exclusive fullscreen option (Windows only)
Reduced the number of rounds in Arcade Mode Stage 2 from four to two
1. Three-Round Match Option
You can now play three-round matches in Free Play's "KoiKoi - Custom" and Online Battle's "Private Room."

Until recently, I wasn't aware that Koi-Koi had a three-round match format.
After receiving feedback from the community, I looked into other Hanafuda games and found a few that use a local rule variant with three-round matches (see note below).
Note: Under the official rules used in tournaments and similar events, matches are generally played over 12 rounds.
With that in mind, I decided to add a three-round match option to "KoiKoi - Custom" and "Private Room," where you can customize the match rules.
2. Exclusive Fullscreen Option (Windows Only)
By default, the Windows version runs in borderless fullscreen mode.
Some players reported severe slowdowns when using Steam Game Recording in this display mode. I confirmed that running the game in Direct3D exclusive fullscreen mode can alleviate this issue.
This update adds a launch option for exclusive fullscreen mode. To enable it, open the game's "Properties" in your Steam Library, select "General," and enter -e in "Launch Options."
However, this option may cause delays in background tasks or make the game take longer to launch. For normal play, I recommend leaving this option unset and using the default borderless fullscreen mode.
Please try this option only if you are experiencing delayed frame presentation or severe slowdowns.
3. Fewer Rounds in Arcade Mode Stage 2
The number of rounds in Arcade Mode Stage 2 (vs Sasuke) has been reduced from four to two.
Development of the remaining Arcade Mode stages is ongoing.
Future updates may also include adjustments to the currently available Stages 1–3 as needed.
