Thank you always for supporting Lapistasia. Today, we have released the Update Ver. 0.1.5 for the demo version.

In this update, we have implemented several critical balance adjustments based on the valuable feedback we received from all of you.

One of the most frequent pieces of feedback was that "reducing the number of blocks in hand became too much of an optimal strategy, leading to monotonous gameplay where players just keep placing the exact same blocks." Since this results in a tedious, grindy experience for players, we have taken measures in this update to ensure the core fun of the game is not compromised.

【Update Details】

• "Trash Block" Adjustments

  • The initial price at the shop has been changed to 10 coins. Additionally, the price increase will no longer reset between shops and will now carry over.

  • The number of blocks that can be trashed during events has been reduced from 3 to 2.

• Boss Defeat Rewards Changed

  • Changed the reward from a Block Chest (which guaranteed a factor) to a chest containing special food or Runes.

  • Along with this change, Block Chests can now be purchased at the shop.

• Event (Rune) Adjustments

  • Adjusted Runes with negative effects to make them more viable and easier to use.

• Block Power Adjustments

  • Changed the Power increase per level-up for Normal and Heavy Blocks from 15 to 10.

  • Changed the initial Power value for Attack Blocks from 30 to 40.

• Relic Drop Rate Adjustments

  • Adjusted the item pools so that a wider variety of Relics will appear in the shop from the early game.

• Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where the Monster Meat effect "Power -2 at the end of battle" was not functioning properly.

  • Fixed an issue where the Block Factor "Cure" only restored 3 HP, despite the description stating "Restore 10 HP."

  • Fixed an issue where some images, including certain Relics, appeared crushed or distorted.

  • Fixed other minor typos, misprints, and localization errors.

【Upcoming Updates】

• New Course Addition

  • We are currently planning a new course that not only increases the difficulty but also fundamentally changes the way you play.

• Enhanced Clear Screen (Results)

  • In addition to your Max Damage, we plan to allow players to view a detailed overview of their Relics and build.

• Simplified Chinese Support

  • We are planning to add support for Simplified Chinese (中国語・簡体字) to bring the game to even more players worldwide.

Once again, thank you so much for all of your feedback and suggestions.

As a development team, our policy is not to simply implement every suggestion exactly as requested, but rather to carefully review them based on the core concept of the game before making adjustments. Because of this, there may be times when we cannot meet specific requests or must lower their priority.

However, we read through every single message you send, and your voices are an invaluable resource for our development. Please do not hesitate to keep sharing your honest feedback and suggestions with us on Discord, social media, or the Steam Community Hub!

Thank you for your continued support of Lapistasia.
