This update focuses on staff expansion, staff behavior, shared ingredient storage, multiplayer fixes, save persistence, and community-reported issues. 🍕
✨ NEW
• You can now assign up to two employees to the Pizza Chef, Waiter, and Busser roles.
• Pizza Stations now use a shared ingredient inventory. Ingredients placed in one station can also be used by Pizza Chefs working at another station.
• The shared inventory capacity increases with the perks of Lv4 Pizza Chefs working at your stations.
🔧 IMPROVEMENTS
• Staff were asking for promotions too often, talking constantly during breaks, and repeating the same line whenever you looked at them. All three behaviors now happen much less frequently.
• Pizza Chefs who run out of ingredients will now announce which ingredient is missing more frequently and loudly enough to be heard from farther away.
• Waiters no longer take breaks. You will no longer have to wait for a Waiter to return from break while tables are waiting for their orders.
• Some situations where staff could not work previously gave no explanation. The game now displays the reason when:
• Storage shelves are full.
• An order requires an ingredient that cannot be stored in the station.
• The fryer basket is missing.
These messages are now available in all supported languages.
• Reduced short stutters that could occur when staff performed certain tasks, resulting in smoother gameplay.
• The warning shown at the register when all tables are occupied now clearly explains that tables need to be cleaned before new customers can be accepted.
🐛 FIXES
• Fixed an issue where chopping ingredients near a tray could produce fewer portions than intended. For example, roast beef could sometimes produce only two out of four portions. You now receive the correct number of portions whether a tray is nearby or not.
• When a Busser emptied trays into the trash, progress was not counted toward the "Throw Leftovers in the Trash" task. Busser actions now count toward the task as well.
• Fixed an achievement for cutting different ingredients that could fail to unlock even after every cuttable ingredient had been prepared. Players who already completed the requirement will automatically receive the achievement at the end of their next in-game day.
• Items left on a Pizza Station could become inaccessible after assigning a Pizza Chef to the station. You can now retrieve the item after removing the Pizza Chef from the role.
• Fixed an issue where some orders could become permanently stuck without being prepared, even when manually requested. These orders will now be released correctly and return to production.
• In multiplayer, guest players could not place more than 20 ingredients into a station. Guests can now correctly use the additional capacity provided by the Pizza Chef's level.
• In multiplayer, pizzas placed on shelves could appear on the floor for guest players. They now appear correctly on the shelf for everyone.
• Balanced the ambulance siren from the street ambience based on community feedback.
• The Ambient Volume slider in the settings was not affecting street ambience. It now correctly controls its volume.
• Whole and cuttable pineapples had collision bounds that were too large. They can now be placed much more easily inside refrigerators and on shelves.
• Fixed an issue where untouched ingredients stored in freezers or trays could disappear after loading a save.
• Uncut or partially cut pineapples could sometimes disappear after loading a save. They are now saved correctly even if they have not been fully chopped.
• Fixed the incorrect Shrimp icon in the market.
• Staff upgrades could incorrectly display "More XP Required" when the actual requirement was more money. The correct requirement is now displayed.
• After loading a save with the Night Shift upgrade unlocked, Dough and Sauce Machines could start empty. They now correctly start filled.
🌐 MULTIPLAYER
• When a guest player removed a pizza from the oven using a tray, the pizza could continue cooking on their screen. Cooking now correctly stops as soon as the pizza is removed from the oven.
⚠️ KNOWN ISSUES
• For a small number of players, some Station Upgrades and Decorations may still appear locked even after the required level has been reached.
We are actively investigating this rare issue. Your level and progression remain safely stored in your save.
