finally, all the little visual updates are done! i whipped up a new particle system, reworked a couple minor systems, and in general smoothed a bunch of stuff out. lots of minor tweaks and improvements!
v0.21.3 Changelog:
reordered the boards so Beginner is before Classic (first time players were clicking the first board in the list, which was Classic previously)
added button for "Too Many Pieces" board
updated timing on scene transition animation and scene loading, to reduce hitching/lag on scene changes
added particles and sounds to main menu initial start-up animation
removed some more mild lookalikes from the beginner board
updated the record-broken animations (on the results screen) so that the freshly-broken records are a slightly different color
updated the timing of record-broken animations with a brief pause between sections
updated the time-calculation sequence with new color changes, sounds, and particles
updated the page-splitting rules for the records menu
added a text display to the records menu, to show how many records are currently being displayed
the game feels a lot more professional and put-together to me after this update, i'm really proud of how its going :)
only a few minor updates like this, and then the game will be ready for the final content additions!!!
