Hello looters!
Its time for our first Quality of Life update on steam. The most critical improvement in this patch addresses a major bug where unexpected shutdowns (like a power outage) could potentially corrupt your save file. We have now implemented backups to prevent this from happening. Your progress is now significantly safer.
Improvement & changes:
UI Zoom Added: You can now adjust the UI scale from 75% to 125% in the Settings panel to find your perfect fit.
Multi-Save Performance: Significant performance improvements have been made for players running multiple save slots at the same time.
Default Save Slot: You can now set your favorite save file to be the default one that launches when you start the game.
Generous Merchant: The Traveling Merchant has found a surplus of scrolls and will now offer them much more frequently in his shop.
Bug Fixes:
Fixed known issues in hunt modal
Monsters can no longer be dragged around
Item tooltips in the Expedition loot table now correctly displays details.
Fixed a couple typos in the item names
Fixed issue with merchant for old itch saves (more details below)

FOR OLD ITCH PLAYERS THAT DID AUTOMATED IMPORT
Please follow these steps carefully!
WARNING: This process involves your save files. Please back them up first.
Step 1: Export Your Save File
Launch Idle Looter.
Go to the Settings menu.
Click "Export Save to Clipboard".
Paste the long string of text into a safe place, like a Notepad or TextEdit file. Save this file to your desktop.
Step 2: Disable Steam Cloud
Close the game.
In your Steam Library, right-click on Idle Looter and select "Properties...".
On the "General" tab, uncheck the box that says "Keep game saves in the Steam Cloud...".
Step 3: Delete the Local Data Folder
Press the Windows Key + R on your keyboard to open the "Run" dialog box.
Type \%APPDATA% and click OK.
In the folder that opens, find the folder named "Idle Looter" and delete it.
Step 4: Restore Your Save
Launch Idle Looter again through Steam. It will look like a brand-new game.
Open the text file where you saved your export string and copy the entire string.
In the game, go to Settings and click "Import Save from Clipboard".
The game will reload with all your progress restored. You can now close the game.
Step 5: Re-enable and Sync Steam Cloud
Go back to the game's "Properties..." in Steam.
Re-check the box to enable Steam Cloud.
Launch the game one final time.
Steam should now show a "Cloud Sync Conflict" window. This is expected! Choose the option to "Upload to the Steam Cloud". This will replace the old, buggy cloud save with your newly fixed local save.
After completing these steps, the merchant bug and other potential issues from migrating your save will be permanently resolved. Thank you again for your patience as we worked through this tricky issue
