Hello to all our players, new and old – long time no see!
Lately, I’ve been fully focused on developing the DLC "Knock On Fate: Abyssal Pearl of the Canghai". Along the way, I’ve also upgraded the game’s core architecture to make it easier to bring you more improvements and new features for the base game in the future.
Good news: Development of the DLC is complete, and it has now entered the final testing phase. It will be ready to meet you very soon! ːsteamhappyː
At the same time, I’ve been keeping a close eye on your feedback and managed to fit in some quality-of-life improvements for the base game.
Here’s what’s new in this update:
【Optimizations & Fixes】
🐢 Xuanwu (Black Tortoise)
When the “Xuanwu’s Blessing” event triggers and the “North Sea Xuanwu” prompt appears, a Xuanwu Stone will now drop.
📜 Appraisers
The success rates for Master, Veteran, and Expert appraisers have been increased by 5% across the board.
🎰 Slot Machine
Improved the sound feedback for small wins. The big gong sound will only play when you hit the grand prize – “Dragon Orb inbound”.
📖 Game Instructions
Reorganized and improved the content and layout, now with rich text support – much easier to read and understand.
Added a “Probability Info” page in the bottom‑right corner of the Settings screen.
🎨 UI & Performance
Rich text support added, with some interface upgrades.
Fixed a potential memory leak issue when running in windowed mode.
Further performance optimizations: improved cookie handling and shadow rendering efficiency.
✨ Trait Adjustment
Significantly increased the trigger chance of the 【Mystic Shadow】 trait.
From now on, I’ll be pushing forward with the final DLC preparations. It should be released very soon, and I hope you’ll join me in diving into the deep sea to explore an entirely new way to play!
Thank you all for your continuous support and encouragement – having you here means the world to me! 🙏
