StateOS v0.1 Foundation Alpha Release Date

Hi everyone,

I have another update regarding the new update and looking at my progress giving myself a lot of extra time in case I'd need it, the release date is planned for July 30th 2026.

StateOS v0.1 Foundation Alpha is a stable version of the game with some new features from the current experimental Alphas but those features are specifically core gameplay choices and QoL features.

As for a progress report I would say the current update is 60% complete. With election systems complete. Last remaining changes to the campaigns in the game. Legislation is also in a good state, but I have not confirmed it is bug free yet, but it looks like it mostly is. I will have to make a few game design changes for legislation before it can be considered finished.

The new map system is complete. Many systems have been rewritten and changed for robustness and future scale. The UI has had some more thought put into it instead of the simple box system I had before.

As for UI changes I'm also about 70% done with those changes. A few UI scenes still need changes and also I will be deciding to remove some themes from the game, and fix some themes that are somewhat broken. Specifically some light themes.

Some performance changes are also needed which I've noted.

Remember the goal of this update is a strong foundation, bug free, and gameplay complete. The strong foundation will help with the future in terms of scaling and adding new features, and adding back former features.

I also will only release the game into EA when I believe it is ready, and while the price will never change, currently it is too expensive given the features present in this update.

As for a roadmap, I'll have a proper one presented after this update is out. As that will give me a clear idea of where I'll be heading.
