Announcement Month
It has been a month since I officially announced Night Hike on Steam and I'm really thankful for the interest and positive comments I've gotten so far. The weeks before launch I had spent most of my development time working on the art direction, atmosphere and vibe of the project and I'm pleased how it's come together. While there is still much to be explored and explained, the visual state has allowed me to piece together an announce trailer that a few media outlets shared and the vision for Night Hike is now realized.
What's Next?
Since the Steam page went live, I've been back to the development grind with a healthy balance of gameplay features and building all the necessary settings for localization, screen sizes, controller support, etc. I'm also applying to a variety of festivals and events to help spread the word.
The next major milestone will be the first playable where I plan to test out the core game loop for early feedback.
Thank You!
A big thanks to everyone who has shown interest in Nike Hike. Every page visit, wishlist and sign up to the mailing list means a lot and I'm excited to share more in the coming months!
