Hi everyone,
first of all thanks for playing the game! This month, the game reached over 8000 plays on Itch! I received lots of comments about it.
Based on your feedback, I've just released a new update for the demo! The main focus was on the event system. A New events added: Questioning, Toast & Drama events.
Improved the regular Family Intervention events to have more RPG elements on it. Now depending on your luck, stats and upgrades you can bypass your family interventions (very low chance at first). Chatty has more chance on doing it. Trait answers now can also fail.
Events on table: there is some chance for family members to appear on the table to disturb you.
Good events: you can now unlock good family events triggered in a [Relaxed] ambience that helps you.
Music:
New main track by Willy Fishman! I love how it reflects the game. As the audio now is way more pro than the one I did, the other tracks contrast a lot more. So I did some mixing and used silences instead of dramatic music. Willy is a Musician and Artist from Buenos Aires. I'm a fan of his work and I think it's a perfect fit for the game. Here is his last album:
Exploration:
Change the images of the exploration! Wanted to keep the doodle aspect of the original ones, but
New Objects:
Photos and notes. Grabbable objects that gives you some hints and are reusable. To be further developed in future updates.
UI Updates:
New idea: "Mind Progress" let you see your ideas as progress bars!
Changed a bit the Table status to display a bar showing how is scaling the stat.
Improved the feedback on your actions on your portrait and and the table with new sounds and portraits images.
"Your parents are distracted!..." text now appears on the table zone-
Improved the Family Area. Chatty can chat with them.
Bugs
Fixed a bug that didn't stored your favorite audio settings
