The standard way to exit N.E.K.O. is by right-clicking the system tray icon in the bottom-right corner. While this method remains stable for the GitHub open-source and previous beta versions, we have identified an issue in the current Steam version where exiting this way fails to shut down the backend process (server.exe) completely.

We are currently investigating the root cause and working on a solution. Until this is resolved, please use the "Stop" button within the Steam client to close the application and ensure all processes are terminated properly.

We fixed this issue in v0.6.3 Patch 3. If issue still happens, please let us know.
