New items and the road to Early Access
Wow, it's been a long time since I last posted an update on here! But I'm happy to say it's because I've been very busy working on StoneSpace.
Wetlands biome improvements
I've made quite a few changes to the newly added Wetlands biome, including new resources, like reeds, improved water effects, and riverbanks.

Clay and adobe
I've also been adding the latest batch of new items and crafting mechanics to the game, specifically adobe and clay, including the game's first kiln. This is a substantial step forward technologically, as it unlocks new building options, including smelters for refining ores into metal.

New save system
The save system has also been overhauled. I'll spare you the boring technical details, but essentially it just means that any saved games (from Early Access onwards) should be compatible with all future versions of the game. So you never have to worry about losing progress after an update or starting over when we hit 1.0!
The road to Early Access
I'm still aiming to get StoneSpace released in Early Access by the end of the year. There are only a few, mostly fairly minor things left to do to get the game to a really good state. I only hope life doesn't get in the way too much and delay me getting it to you in good time. I'm excited to show you what I've built!
Other updates
There have also, of course, been numerous smaller updates made to the game, including a variety of minor bug fixes, rebalancing, incorporating feedback from the demo, and UI polish.
