Hello heroes!
After a little over a week of playtesting, we want to reiterate our thanks for your participation. We're thrilled to have seen you try out Heroes of Anirea, and we've been gathering your feedback to make it an even better game.
Therefore, we're releasing our first patch, which fixes some bugs, improves the clarity of the interface, and hopefully improves the balance between enemies and heroes. Here we go!
Hero changes
Garrum
Our big guy's performance fell short of expectations. We understand Garrum as a sustainer capable of keeping your group alive without needing heals, and this wasn't entirely the case. We reduced the damage he takes, increased the shield he grants, and fixed some bugs that should greatly improve his performance.
New passive effect: Reduces incoming non‑piercing damage by 20%.
Increased the amount of shield given at the start of the battle (200 -> 300).

Mimi
Mimi has received a lot of love and has become a favorite of many. We've sped up the action of her summons a bit so they feel more useful in the heat of battle.
Echoflames summoned by her skill advance their first action by 50%.
Galewyn
We felt the archer was too strong from the start. Galewyn is a character designed to improve her performance by spending action points. We reduced her base damage to make that idea more noticeable.
Reduced base damage of the basic attack (200 -> 150).
Enemy changes
Slime King
The big blue king gave a hard time to many of you. We have reduced all his base values. In the other hand, we have increased the healing received by the little slimes he summons so better not to ignore them.
Reduced Max HP (3200 -> 3000)
Reduced the amount of shield granted by the skill (300 -> 200).
Increased healing when consuming slimes (100 -> 200).
Reduced the base damage value of the basic attack (400 -> 300).
Removed the aqua immunity passive description.
Roosterisk
The battle with the roosterisk was too dependent on him not giving a crit to your entire party. We are reducing the scaling of the damage increase he gets when hit.
Reduced base damage increase per rage stack (300 -> 200).
Woodthrust
Increased max HP (1600 -> 1800).
Increased skill base damage (200 -> 250).
Wolf
Reduced max HP (700 -> 600).
Improvements and Quality of Life
Most of the changes here are focus on the interface and the ease of viewing ally and enemy attributes. There are also some changes to make the game more comfortable with a mouse and keyboard.
Soul points have been integrated into the character panel inside battle UI

Included an HP bar below the characters' sprites when the cursor is over them.

On the damage preview after selecting an enemy objective, the expected damage amount will be displayed on top of the current HP.

Camera movement during battle scenes is now slower and smoother.
Actions tooltips are now displayed faster
Included keyboard shortcuts to increase pace and usability during battle for keyboard & mouse users
Bug fixing
Fixed an issue where the game would display a black screen in some devices.
Fixed an issue where the action tooltip remained displayed after choosing an action.
Fixed an anomaly when starting battle with Garrum where he would lose all accumulated Soul Points.
Fixed an issue where the “Take a Bite” option in the Odd Mycologist event healed an abnormally low amount of HP.
Fixed an issue when defeating an enemy with Mimi after a follow up attack.
Various fixes in text and localization.
This is the first set of changes we've made, but it certainly won't be the last. We hope you continue to enjoy the playtest and help us make a better game.
With love,
The Heroes of Anirea team
