UPDATE 2026.7.14
Unlocked Combat During Grace Period
Offense is the Best Defense: You can now shoot and spawn trails freely while in your grace period! We originally restricted this to prevent players from becoming immortal and deadly at the same time. Now that grace period refreshing has been removed, you can safely use your invincibility windows to aggressively fight back.
XP Economy & Drop Rework
To prevent the screen from becoming absolutely flooded with gems during late-game runs, we have completely changed how experience drops scale:
Regular Enemies: Instead of dropping chunks of experience worth a quarter of your player level, all regular enemies will now drop a flat 1 XP orb. This keeps the scaling tight and challenging during long runs.
Boss Rewards: Bosses remain highly lucrative. They will continue to drop Point Orbs equal to half of your player level, and these Point Orbs will now also grant XP to the player upon pickup.
Survivability & Weapon Balancing
We are continuing to fine-tune the numbers to keep the danger real:
Stat Scaling Nerf: Decreased both the Max Health and Max Armor augment multipliers from 50% to 25% to prevent players from easily turning into unstoppable tanks.
Mola Shrinkage: Decreased the base size of the Mola weapon from 1.0 to 0.75.
Boss AI Refinement
Intelligent Aggression: Bosses that do not screen-wrap will now turn and face the player when they hit the screen border, rather than automatically resetting to face the center of the screen. Watch out for their repositioning!
UI & Content Housekeeping
Skill Reminder Removed: Removed the Skill Tree reminder from the Game Over screen since the progression system is currently disabled.
Tips Temporarily Disabled: Removed the random loading tips for the time being, as the recent structural reworks made several of them outdated. We'll bring a refreshed set back soon!
