Long story short: Monster Girl Therapy can now be played in English and German! With the German version, we also have a batch of news, fittingly focussed on the German-speaking world. (But enough of all that after this one!)
Welcome to Monstermädchentherapie!
Ah, these wonderful compound words! As an official name for a video game, this one would be rather unwieldy though, so I’ll stick with Monster Girl Therapy … which doesn’t change the fact that the interactive narrative with minigames and puzzles can now be played in German! After updating, just change the language in the menu at any time.

In fact, this isn’t just any random translation: Even though I originally wrote the game in English, I am a native speaker and planned for both versions from the start. Practically speaking, the German one can be understood as a “second original”! I wouldn’t go so far as to say you should play the game again (unless you are REALLY interested in language comparisons!) … but if you haven’t checked it out yet, this might be an additional reason to do so. I also have a recent blog post about the details of the translation!
Games Composed in Germany
As in previous years, there is once again a big Steam festival for games from Germany: Between July 20 and 27, Games Composed in Germany offers a look at the things being developed here … and of course, there are plenty of discounts to go around! Monster Girl Therapy is taking part as well.

A little game in German for free, coming soon!
My first little game, Vom Drachentöten (“On Slaying Dragons”) is only out in German, but soon, it will also be available for free! It has 95% positive reviews (out of 21 total :D) and recently reached 500 copies sold, which is a nice occasion.

Since not much is happening with the game anymore and the price has always been very low, it might also just be positioned better as “free publicity” for me as a developer. Steam Support has already been contacted – so if you’d like a free German-language RPG, add it to your wishlist! An update will follow on its Steam page.
Viel Spaß beim Spielen! (Have fun playing!)
