Hello everyone, this update focuses on performance optimization, system stability, and enhancements to the Workshop features. We have reorganized the application’s running mechanisms, further reduced resource usage, and improved the experience in full-screen scenarios. At the same time, to make the Workshop more efficient and reliable, we have upgraded and fixed several core features.
Update Details
1. New System Tray Process (Lower Resource Usage)
A lightweight system tray process has been added to manage wallpaper playback and global controls.
This process replaces the old background solution, using less CPU and memory while significantly improving stability.
2. Full-Screen Game Auto Power-Saving Mode
When a full-screen game or application is detected, video wallpapers will automatically pause and switch to static images to reduce resource usage without affecting gaming or work.
3. Automatic Resource Release After Exiting Main App
After exiting the main app, related processes no longer remain resident. System resources (CPU, memory, etc.) are fully released, avoiding unnecessary background usage.
4. Startup Item Switched to Tray Process
The startup item has been moved from the main app to the tray process, resulting in a more reasonable structure, more stable operation, and avoiding residual issues from previous versions.
5. Creator Information Display
Workshop items now show creator information, making content sources clearer and allowing users to follow their favorite creators.
6. New Interaction Features: Like, Favorite, Subscribe, Unsubscribe

7. Fixed Static Image Upload Issues
Resolved issues where some static images failed to upload, improving upload stability.
