Enjoy the last few days of May! Another gruesome and terrifying update in the form of a reconstruction of the Chamber of Deputies—this time on the next floor and in the basement. I’ve added the most important rooms I’d forgotten about: the restrooms. Also, the absurdly large game file sizes have been reduced—and when will the full version actually be released?

Main Horror
Parliament reconstruction. New rooms added to the next floor! On the ground floor, we have a shooting range, strip clubs, and libraries, and we’re now introducing gyms, bowling alleys, and bars. We’ve also fixed the glass courtyard, various hallways, and made travel more comfortable. And of course, the restrooms can’t be missing!
Basement renovation. The basement’s atmosphere is becoming more intense. However, various secret passages, completely off-limits rooms, and oddities are planned for version 0.8.
Game size reduction. I took a close look at the game’s growing size (up to 1.1 GB!), which I managed to reduce through various methods that shouldn’t significantly impact the game’s functionality or aesthetics. We’re currently at 700 MB, which is much more manageable.

Minor Scares
Reducing the game’s size may result in poorer optimization. Just keep that in mind. I’ll definitely tweak it in the future.
Added new navigation markers for new room types—smoking rooms, restrooms, and others.
More garbage everywhere!
Slightly adjusted the placement of promises in Classic Mode.
Updated the game’s Steam store page.

The game’s final release is getting closer and closer! The next update will be version 0.8, scheduled for June. It will mark the final completion of the Chamber of Deputies’ reconstruction. This will conclude the main phase of the process, during which we’ve been adding content continuously. On the path to version 0.9, our goal is to improve the game in every aspect based on feedback, particularly in gameplay, UI, and UX. We might also fix Patriotism—the in-game currency—to better support the time spent unlocking characters, modes, and game challenges. We’ll definitely include more absurd modes and new environments (the landfill, Tomio’s house, or other ideas that you can suggest too!)
Over the summer, I plan to focus on promoting the game. That means, if everything goes as planned, I’m aiming for a September release. July and August are out of the question. So this proper horror game should arrive at the start of the new school year or after the parliamentary recess. I’ll provide more details next time!
Here’s an invite to the Discord server, where we can discuss everything that needs to be discussed!
Once again, a huge thank you for all the support, the joy of playing, and the scares on our dear friends’ faces. Ejchuchu!
