This is the second DEVLOG for ORDER POINT — and that’s really exciting!
In this devlog, I won’t be showing new mechanics or any hidden easter eggs (you’ll be able to find them yourselves — the demo release is coming soon!). Instead, I’ll focus on the locations. I paid special attention to them to preserve the cold, eerie, and overall atmospheric feeling of WINTER.
I also want to point out that not all locations are in their final form — they may change by the time the demo releases!
Main Room
This is the room where most of the game takes place. It doesn’t have many unique features — just an ordinary room with a computer — but it’s still cozy and filled with small easter eggs. The first game trailer was recorded in a slightly altered version of this room. By the way, you can watch it using this link!
What are those strange items on the desk? And why are there three mugs??
There’s not much more to say about this location, but you can explore it fully in the trailer and in the game screenshots. Maybe there are some hidden details no one has discovered yet!
Warehouse
This location is much more interesting — it even has its own ambient sound. The area turned out to be quite large, so I’ll probably make some adjustments to it later.
All the boxes are labeled “Pyos”. It’s actually just a placeholder.
The location is still quite empty, but I will definitely fill it in with more details closer to the demo release. Also, there’s a huge fan up on the ceiling.
Street (Bus Stop)
This is my favorite location. I put the most time and effort into it. You can see it in screenshots and even on the store page cover. Simply put — I really like how this area turned out, and I hope you’ll like it too!
This image is taken directly from the game’s menu.
There’s still room for improvement here — the trees, for example. If you look closely, there’s a white gap between them that makes them appear strange. I’ll fix this closer to the release of the playable demo.
Conclusion
I didn’t show all the locations — some of them are story-related, and I’d prefer to keep them secret for now. You’ll be able to see them in the game itself! Thank you to everyone reading these devlogs. This will most likely be the last one before the demo release. Once again, thank you for your support and for following the development of my game!
