We’re constantly exploring different ideas about what else we could add to the game. Today, we’d like to share one of them.
We’ve noticed that some players prefer to play freely, with minimal restrictions and plenty of variability, without a storyline. For them, we’re developing Sandbox Mode.
But there are also those who enjoy pre-planned, interesting situations as they progress through the game, with a story component. To some extent, that’s what the Story Mode is all about. But we’d also like to add short stories featuring different characters. In one scenario, it’s an experienced miner who’s constantly being robbed by bandits. In another, it’s the son of a ranch owner who takes over a mine, but his main goal is to find a diamond at the bottom of the mine to make a piece of jewelry for the girl he likes.
But we’d like to add not only official scenarios created by us, but also give you the opportunity to create your own scenarios using the Editor and share them with other players, especially since we already have experience creating an editor from our previous game, Fly Corp.
For now, these are just ideas, but we’d really like to bring them to life. Whether we can do this depends largely on how well the game sells over the next six months.
