Provinces Update 0.7
Update 0.7 is now finished.
Old Foundation UI
NEW FOUNDATION UI

EVERYTHING THAT HAS EXACTLY CHANGED
This update has mainly focused on rebuilding the Play Mode UI. Most of the important panels have been redesigned so they are easier to read, more consistent and quicker to navigate. This includes characters, provinces, nations, cities, political parties, relations, cultures and resources.
The biggest new feature is the character Free Will system which was heavily requested. Characters can now periodically choose an eligible ambition for themselves based on their situation. Free Will can also be turned on or off for each individual character keeping full character freedom. The system is ready to support traits and more detailed personality modifiers in future updates.
The Time system has also been changed making the game far faster
The old ambition list has also been replaced with organised dropdown categories, while relations and resource lists now have clearer sorting options.
There have also been several smaller improvements to panel navigation, party information, clickable character details and how the UI behaves when the pause menu is open.
There is still more work to do on traits, attributes and the ambition system, but 0.7 creates a much stronger base for future character behaviour.
GOING FORWARD
Sales have been quite low so far, but I’m still committed to supporting and improving Provinces. I’d really like to hear what players want to see next, so please share any features, systems or changes you think should be prioritised. I am currently working on a more expansive army and war system but its a huge system and I cant give a timeline for how long it will take but if anyone encounters any errors or has any smaller suggestions I will try to implement now between now and the next major update.
