First off, we want to thank the user who pointed out our mistake. In our previous news post, which has since been deleted, we carelessly used the phrase “a lot of” out of habit. That was not accurate, and we appreciate being called out on it.
To be clear: we don’t have “a lot of” anything right now. Our player base is very small, and the feedback we mentioned originally came from a few real-life friends who have been testing and supporting the game. We should have said that from the start.
So why are we going free-to-play?
We looked at the numbers and asked ourselves — do we just sit here with almost no players, or do we try something different? If you do nothing, you fail 100%. So we’re trying.
Making the game free isn’t about selling DLC or pretending we have a big community. It’s about removing every barrier so that someone, anyone, can give the game a chance. All we want right now is for people to play. That’s it.
All existing content is free. We won’t be selling anything until we actually have a player base worth serving. One step at a time.
If you decide to give it a try — thank you. If you have feedback, we’re listening. And if the game isn’t for you, that’s completely fine.
Thanks for reading.
