hello, i hope you have all enjoy wandering around Loutra. This game is a 'residency simulator' that is predominantly concerned with the act of 'residing' within a virtual space, rather than achieving goals. It's provided with little explanation or motivating factors on purpose so as not to distract from that central goal. However, that can cause some players to feel uncertain- which is something I will continue to work on.
This update addresses some inconsistencies and issues in the game to make it a little more convenient to play. it also fixes a couple of bugs.
Changes:
increased menu contrast & sizing
reduced initial sensitivity
added torch when playing game during evening/night time
moved some things around
changed player start position
altered crosshair to indicate objects of interest
I wanted to thank everyone who played the game and experienced it. it''s been lovely reading all of the kind words and seeing everyones responses. a retrospective devlog is coming soon, and more updates are planned for the future. :)
