Community members! In our previous update we announced the development of late-war period for Finland Call to Arms - Gates of Hell: Talvisota expansion.
Our progress has been steady and we have some screenshots to share.
Testing of late-war will begin soon by our team, and if it plays well and turns out to be a good addition, we hope to release it as soon as it’s balanced.

Skirmishes
We mentioned we would be releasing the skirmishes from Talvisota at a regular pace. We’ve processed a lot of the feedback from the players and we’re happy to announce we’ve made substantial changes to some of the existing skirmishes, as well as improvements throughout. Our changes have been aimed to make the skirmishes more fun and diverse as well as addressing historical inaccuracies. We have also finished three more skirmishes which we will release very soon.

Other exciting news
We are very happy how our players have praised the visual improvements and more lively and beautiful maps of the Talvisota expansion. You may recall that we mentioned that our aim was to bring that level of detail to the Ostfront base game as well. We are working hard to achieve this on top of all the other tasks which our team is undertaking.

Moreover, we are preparing an amazing sound redesign to the game. There is a lot of work going on behind the scenes to bring our audio experience to an even greater standard, emphasizing realism as well as more atmospheric sounds thanks to new solutions we implemented. We continue to evolve and re-invest into our product to make sure it is not only to push the boundaries of our capabilities, but also to reward our community for their long-lasting support.
That’s all folks. Thanks for stopping by. Barbedwire Studios wishes you a happy start to the summer and we will see you on the battlefield!
