Dev Log #1 – System Stability & Guidance Update
Hello everyone,
First of all, a huge thank you to those who have tested the first alpha and shared their feedback. Your reports are essential in helping this experiment grow.
Here is what’s new in the latest update:
1. Bug Fixes & UI Polishing
Input Blocking: Fixed the "click-through" issue where interacting with documents or letters would accidentally trigger objects in the background.
System Stability: Fixed a bug where the L.U.N.A menu would become unresponsive after exiting the DIAG or PROCESS modules.
2. New Feature: Startup Protocols I’ve heard your concerns about the game’s cryptic nature. While L.U.N.A is intended to be a journey of self-discovery where being "lost" is part of the experience, I understand it can be frustrating for some.
I have added a Startup Choice at the beginning of the game:
Total Immersion: The original, cryptic experience. No hand-holding.
Initial Assistance: At the risk of slightly spoiling the mystery, this option provides a brief overview of the gameplay loop and your objectives. This is for those who are intrigued by the world but afraid of missing the path.
The choice is yours.
3. A Reminder on the Nature of the Game L.U.N.A: Ghost in the Machine is an experimental, slow-paced experience. It is meant to be played in short bursts over several days.
Patience and observation are your best tools.
Stay curious.
