Patch Notes
Posted by: That One Guy Loki from That One Game Studio
Hey guys this is a more rushed set of notes just to disclose the latest set of fixes and tweaks.
Bug Fixes:
Starting Basic Race Track Orderbox would not save from initial new game if it was never placed down before saving and reloading.
Accessory items were resized as they didn't fit on the larger shelf
Keybindings Settings menu didn't have the "Reset All" button in the ingame pause menu.
Keybindings were also too restrictive causing issues with changing a single binding and not being able to reset that due to "overlapping" controls.
New Stuffs:
Shopper dialog when they offer you a part for sale now shows the market value of the item
Setting price menu now attempts to disclose the "Avg Cost" based on averaging out the different tiers of boxes to give you a better idea of markup profit. Somethings like the Race Tracks and Arcades for example have no "Avg Cost" as its just a service so they display "N/A"
Setting price menu now shows a "Profit" amount based on set price vs average cost
Joining an NPC Shopper hosted race now shows a countdown timer for waiting on a full race
Joined Races now let you close the UI with Tab or Esc and stay in the race so you don't have to wait in menu until it starts anymore
Added some UI popup effects for some of the menus ingame
Exposed keybindings for furniture rotation so you are not forced to use the mouse scroll wheel for better player support
Added a new tutorial Step to reach level 2 before the tutorial step to buy workbench to make it less confusing when you have not reached level 2 to unlock the bench
Thank You
I have been blown away over these last 2 weeks since the game's demo launch. There has been a lot of feedback both good and uh... less good but hey that's how we improve the game together. Thank you to everyone who has played the demo and those that have shared feedback.
If you have not yet wishlisted the game you should consider it to stay up to date with the latest changes as well as join our discord to give feedback more directly.
I got some new features cooking up with a bigger focus on racing that I'll share as we get closer but until then thank you again.
