This update fixes three issues that hurt the experience: Dung Beetle Hunter's devour not working, Venom Queen's L5A sell bonus skipping certain pieces, and the power saw loop sound that never stops after battle ends. All three came from player reports — thank you!
1. Dung Beetle Hunter (Silver): Devour Fixed
The issue: Dung Beetle Hunter could barely devour anything. Due to a misconfigured target filter, it incorrectly required the target to be BOTH Plant AND Animal — while almost every piece carries only one of those tags. Devour was silently skipped, so egg creation, self-growth and all related effects never triggered; the card was effectively dead.
After the fix: on action, it correctly devours the Plant or Animal piece to its left; egg creation, +5 Poison/+50 Life, and inheriting the devoured piece's traits & 50% stats all work as intended.
2. Venom Queen L5A Sell Bonus: Now Applies to No-Life Pieces
The issue: when L5A sells an Insect/Alien Bug, the "+150 Life and +2 Poison to all your battlefield pieces" bonus skipped pieces with no Life value (such as Eternal Coffin) entirely — even the +2 Poison, which genuinely matters to them.
After the fix: the +2 Poison now applies to Eternal Coffin and similar pieces; the +150 Life intentionally stays unchanged for them (they have no Life by design, keeping their special role).
How it feels: when pairing the Queen's sell engine with Eternal Coffin, selling bugs now raises the Coffin's Poison as expected.
3. Audio Fix: Power Saw Loop Never Stops
The issue: in some matches that end quickly, the power saw's continuous sound kept playing after the battle ended — until the game was restarted — and stacked louder across consecutive matches.
After the fix: the saw sound stops properly when the battle ends.
Thanks to every player who reported these issues — your feedback makes the game better!
