After taking a little break (due to my family growing by one more member 🐣) I am now finally back at work on the game. Here some preview of what we have been working on:
ESSENTIALS SHOP
The shop now has some additional slots to always provide essential items - this should hopefully solve the RNG issues of some players not rolling any drills - effectively losing runs on bad rolls.
RANDOM RESOURCES
Exact resource locations are now random across runs. However, total resources on the map are comparable across runs. This means that you will not know where exactly resources are, but the total amount of resources is comparable across different map variations, ensuring fairness.
BALANCE & PERFORMANCE
Many balance changes have been done. A full changelog will be provided once the next playtest goes live.
Performance was also improved; you should so at least a 30% FPS boost in late-game battles.
Playtest III
We are currently finishing up the last features for this playtest, then wrapping up testing before launching. Expect to be able to play again in around 2 weeks time. Cant wait for you to get your hands on this new version and hearing what you think!
Thank you for your support. And as always, sharing the game with your friends is always appreciated!
Cheers
