People don't remember anymore, but thousands of years ago, during the birth of the Sphere, a beautiful forest stood on the site of Olannor, the cemetery and the farm. It was a wonderful place, inhabited by strange animals. The spirit of Darukhar guarded them.
He protected the local animals and the humanoid rukhs. Under his protection, the entire forest lived in harmony. Until people came.
At first, Darukhar discovered traps and freed the animals that had fallen into them. Then he saw how people had cut down part of the forest.
Darukhar became furious and unleashed his power on the people. The first battle was his, but after a while the people returned and, with the support of the mages, destroyed the forest protector. The spirit evaporated, and only one hand remained. They say that Darukhar's power still glimmers in it, and if he is resurrected, he will sweep Olannor off the face of the sphere.
