Happy Halloween!
This is Jon Oldblood, just wanted to post a quick update to say thank you to everyone who has been so supportive with the reviews, emails, direct messages etc. I never really thought anyone would want to play a game like Masochisia and I've been blown away by the support I've received.
If you haven't had a chance to play Masochisia yet, Halloween is the perfect time! PLUS, the game is on sale for the Holiday! Check out what some of these websites had to say:
Reviews
“...A narrative-heavy horror adventure that places you in the role of an abused boy who may be on the path to becoming a brutal killer. It's spooky, effective and well done.” - Polygon
“This game is not for the faint of heart... Masochisia is a refreshing change of pace for the point and click horror genre.” - The Escapist
"I had a hard time writing this review because I had so many questions that haunted me over the days after my playthrough! 85/100" - OPNoobs
"If you’ve got no problem delving into some of the darker corners of the human mind, this is a solid pick-up." - Twinfinite
“...When you realize that many of the events portrayed in Masochisia actually happened, the more uncomfortable you’ll become. Art imitating life may prove a little too much for some to stomach.” - The Digital Fix
What's Next for Masochisia
I'm excited to say that I do have some small updates planned for Masochisia! These updates will likely be coming in November and will include some small tweaks and changes including some updates to dialogue and maybe some new secretive events? Maybe! We'll see... The additional events will depend on how successful I will be able make some things work but regardless, there will be some updates posted that does include a few small tweaks and fixes.
I'm also planning on sharing some free stuff for everyone that owns the game in November, so stay posted there! I will post another announcement once that is live for everyone. What kind of free stuff? You will just need to wait and see!
