PIXELFORGE is here — and it's a tool we're genuinely proud of.
It's a fully offline pixel video/image editor: drag in a video, image, GIF, or even your webcam feed, and turn it into pixel art. Pixel-block downsampling, over a dozen one-click presets (8-Bit, Game Boy, NES, Mono, Sunset, CRT, Amber, Neon…), color quantization, dithering and fixed palettes — tinker as much as you like. Export as GIF, MP4, or WebM. One file, zero network, no filter experience required — pick it up in seconds, lose hours in it.
If you'd rather choose than colorize, wander into the egg "Non-Human Research Institute": wake up as a sample, look down at the desk and up around the room, and quietly decide who you are with every blackboard question. In the end, an archived file stamps your identity. Watch out for the trap options hiding in plain sight.
This update also brings:
- "Beat the Cold": 8×8 tactics — lead an immune army against the cold virus
- "Free Snake": a boundless arena snake — steer in real time, grow, tune your own rules
- "Echoes of Light": a story egg of dialogue, exploration and turn-based combat
