Lizardry, developer of 7 Days to End with You and Refind Self: The Personality Test Game presents a new type of horror game...Cling to Blindness is out now!
Have you every played a game with only audio cues and zero visuals? And not only that...while blindfolded?!
Cling to Blindness is an audio only horror game where you must rely solely on audio cues to complete a mysterious ritual. The playtime is approximately 1 to 1.5 hours, and the level of fear is mild enough for those who are usually not fond of horror. There are no jumpscares, so players can focus on the unique sensory experience.
For those who find the game still a little too frightening, the game will include a special "Penguin Mode". By pressing the P key in-game, players can switch to this mode, which replaces Ashioto's footsteps with the adorable pitter patter of a penguin's footstep. If you've hesitated to play due to the horror element, we invite you to give it a try in Penguin Mode.
Next, to all streamers and content creators, we invite you to stream and make videos on Cling to Blindness! As it is a game meant to be experienced through sound alone, the screen will generally remain blank during gameplay. However, by enabling the visual assist feature, viewers can see a simple display that shows the players position/location within the game.
We've also prepared a special "blindfold" overlay for streamers to use during streams, available for download from the PLAYISM official website. This asset is openly distributed so it can be used by anyone and not just streamers.
We hope you enjoy this unique and thrilling experience of Cling to Blindness!
