Update 0.6.08 brings new quality-of-life options, more active bank share trading, improved doctor billing, and stability fixes.
QUALITY OF LIFE
• Added optional screen-edge camera scrolling.
• Added an option to close Structure panels and small event windows with the right mouse button.
• Added an experimental Run in Background option.
BANK AND DOCTOR
• Redstone Ridge Bank now periodically buys and sells shares in the Iron Railroad Company, with its ownership stake capped at a certain limit.
• Doctor visits now cost $5 plus $2 for each sick cow that can be treated.
• Any extra treatment cost is charged only after a successful visit, with a clear notification.
• If cash is short, an active bank can cover the remaining doctor bill as a loan with a fee.
STABILITY AND LOCALIZATION
• Reduced the risk of crashes when loading saved games on some CPUs.
