Hey folks, I’m so happy to finally release the first public demo of Lootbane!
It's happening thanks to your feedback from the initial playtest - every message, bug report, suggestion, and bit of support helped shape this version. I thank you once again!
What’s included in the Demo:
The Warrior - one of four playable classes
The first two regions: Forest Lands and Desert Lands
A wide variety of loot, followers, powers, and synergies
Challenging enemies and bosses
The city hub - sell items, stash gear, and deposit gold before your next run
Each run is built around risk and reward. The deeper you go, the more gold and better loot you can earn - but enemies scale fast, and death wipes everything you’re carrying.
Playtest-Driven Improvements
This demo is the result of the first public playtest. Based on your feedback, I’ve improved pacing, added new content, adjusted balance, and made key systems easier to read - even if the decisions themselves are harder to make.
Seeing players break builds, push dungeon depth, and share what worked (and what didn’t) has been incredibly helpful.
