💚 A Note From Developer
Before anything else: Minsgon Simulator was made by one person. Since the very first demo, I’ve read every review, every comment, and every suggestion from the community, and I’ve tried to turn as many of those ideas as possible into the game.
A lot of the features you see today exist because someone took the time to suggest them. The frogs, egg rarities, and many other additions were shaped by your feedback and ideas. Seeing the community help shape the game has honestly been one of the best parts of developing it.
And that’s not changing now that the game is out.
If there’s something you’d love to see in a future update, a feature you think would fit Minsgon, or an idea you’d like to see explored, please tell me! Steam Discussions or our Discord, whichever is easier for you. I’ll keep listening and, whenever possible, turn your ideas into new features.
Thank you for every single comment, suggestion, request, and idea you’ve shared along the way. I truly mean it.
Have fun out there! ^^
🥚 So What Is Minsgon Simulator?
You run a shop. Your stock is alive.
Hatch mysterious eggs, and every Minsgon that comes out is its own creature, with its own species, rarity and temperament. Tame them with patience, food, and a lot of petting. Train them until they evolve into grander forms. Then decide the hardest part: which ones you sell, and which ones you can't bear to part with.
150+ species to discover and log in your Dex
Taming & bonding: the rarer they are, the harder they are to win over
Evolution: raise their power, their beauty, and their price tag
Your own shop: set prices, work the counter, count out the change
A garden exhibit: sell tickets and let visitors meet your collection
A skill tree: telekinesis, floating objects, carrying way more than you should

👷 You Don't Have to Do It Alone
Once the shop grows beyond what two hands can handle, you start hiring.
Stockers, cashiers, hatchery workers, caretakers. Each one takes some of the daily workload off your plate. And you don't just hire them and hope for the best: you set the rules for how each of them works. Which shelves get restocked first, who handles the counter, who's on Minsgon duty.
Then you step back and watch the shop run itself while you plan your empire.
...mostly. Employees sometimes have ideas of their own.
🎪 Surprise Events & Strange Visitors
The world doesn't sit still while you're behind the counter.
The traveling merchant rolls his wagon into town without warning, carrying rare eggs and offers you'll regret not taking
Market demand shifts: yesterday's worthless species is today's hot item, and the trader who's paying attention cleans up
Twitch integration: let your chat get involved and become part of the shop's daily chaos
You never quite know what kind of day you're opening the doors to.
🌿 Cozy? Or Chaos?
Both. That's rather the point.
Most days are the quiet kind: warm light in the shop, an egg cracking open in its own time, a Legendary you've been taming for an hour finally leaning into your hand.
And then there are the other days.
Two pieces of advice. We won't explain either of them.
Price your goods with the market in mind. Stray too far from market value (and yes, that includes giving them away for free), and you may find that the consequences aren't what you expect. Somebody is keeping track.
Take a closer look at the animals wandering around outside. Not all of them are animals.
Cozy game. Not every shift is.
🔮 What's Next
Launch day is the start, not the finish. I'm already working through the roadmap, and the first post-launch patch will be shaped by your feedback this week. More species, more systems, more ways to grow your shop.
See you behind the counter. 🌟
