We are incredibly proud to announce that The Tavern at the End of the Road is part of the Steam Medieval Festival! To celebrate the occasion, we are putting on a Playtest!
Playtest is LIVE!
The time has come to see if you have what it takes to survive the Road. We are launching a Playtest Event starting this Friday. We need your tactical minds to test the current build, break the combat, and help us shape the future of the game.
How to Request Access
If you want to join the ranks of our first playtesters, follow these steps:
Head over to our Steam Store Page.
Scroll down until you see the "Join the Tavern at the End of the Road Playtest" box.
Click the "Request Access" button (as shown in the screenshot below).
You’ll receive an email from Steam, and the game will appear in your Library!
Updated Trailer
Before you step into the game, check out our brand-new trailer on the main store page! We’ve updated it to reflect the current state of the game—showcasing the new 3D environment, since we got rid of the stylized shaders, added some cool card effects, and worked on reskining the innkeeper!
Catch Up
A lot has changed behind the scenes recently—from a visual overhaul to a rebalancing of our card mechanics. If you want the breakdown of why we removed the shaders, or a look at the expanded map we’re building, you can find the deep dive in our Previous Developer Update.
We Need Your Help: Fill the Feedback Form!
We need your help! Your feedback helps us make this game legendary.
But, I'll be honest! We forgot to link to the playtest form in the game's build! But we still want to go live with the playtest this weekend! So click here or the section title to access the form!
Your honest feedback is much, much appreciated!
Stay Connected
If you want to follow the Tavern’s progress more closely or chat with the team, find us on our socials!
And if you know a fellow Errant who would love a souls-like deckbuilder, send them our way. Every wishlist and playtest request helps us tremendously.
