Hello.
We have released a new demo update today.
This update fixes several issues related to the mail system, menu UI, feature article progression, minigames, and English text display.
Fixed issues:
Fixed an issue where a menu button could disappear after closing the menu while hovering over it.
Fixed an issue where previously read mail was not marked as read after loading a saved game.
Fixed a visibility issue where the most recently read mail remained selected after reopening the mail window.
Changed the mail display order so that newer mail appears first.
Added a delete button for read mail.
Fixed an issue where the mail sender still used an outdated story setting, such as To the Editor-in-Chief of XX Newspaper.
Fixed a softlock that could occur when entering feature article writing without receiving a default keyword.
Fixed dice games and feature article screens so they display fully in English when English is selected.
Changed the censorship risk increase effect from green to red.
Fixed an issue where an extra arrow pointed into empty space in the infiltration minigame.
Adjusted wall collision in the infiltration minigame to better match the sprites.
Fixed icons not displaying properly on the minigame result screen.
Fixed the EXP bar not displaying properly on the minigame result screen.
Added more information to the gameplay explanation section in the notes.
Remaining known issues:
Death or game over may not occur properly even when the death conditions are met.
After Day 10, some reporter options, including Choi Min-gi, may not appear in the morning reporting selection screen.
A report has been received that keywords may not appear at all during article writing on Day 13, but we have not been able to reproduce it internally yet.
Required keywords may not appear when writing a feature article on the day after the trial.
The pipe minigame on the afternoon of Day 24 may be cleared immediately upon entering.
Before the Day 9 pipe minigame, pipe-related text may appear too early during story progression.
During story progression, the guide may incorrectly say that the next minigame is a typing game.
Story or text shown before minigames or reporting sequences may be skipped in large amounts.
After the first trial, two character images may appear during the newspaper office conversation scene.
Some character names may appear incorrectly in the notes.
The name Lee Young-mi in the notes needs to be corrected to Han Yi-seo.
Selecting Han Yi-seo from the reporter list may show the last viewed reporter’s details instead.
The owned status in the reporter list may not update properly.
Reporter list filters may not work properly.
Reporter stress accumulates more slowly than intended and needs balance adjustment.
The newspaper office may not expand according to subscriber count.
Choi Min-gi’s face may be obscured by the UI or image.
The overall difficulty and reward balance of dice games needs adjustment.
Some profanity shown during story progression is planned to be revised.
Some untranslated text may still remain when switching to English.
We will continue fixing the remaining issues in future updates, prioritizing progression-blocking bugs and major system issues.
Thank you for continuing to play the demo and send us your feedback.
