This is a Slog Report, an end-of-the-month progress report to assure you that development is still enslaving me.
The report:
The next location of the main story is now under development, specifically the desert area. The difficulty will ramp up around these parts, mainly in terms of enemy complexity. An intermission between Act 1 and Act 2 is also in the works. Finally, the last playable character is also in development now, and will be included in the early access' character archive feature once done.
Some Updates:
I would like to mention that the itch.io page's demo build has been updated. It's near identical to the Steam version, just without the Steam overlay. The itch.io page will remain as a demo however, and the full game is expected to be released at Steam exclusively.
Early Access update?
I can not estimate when will the next early access update happen, but my goal for now is to add new areas, Act 1-2 intermission and ideally Act 2, however given the newer, larger content Act 2 will have, the update may be pushed mid-development of Act 2, likely when at least 1/4th of it is done.
On a final note, once I fully complete Act 2 in the future, the game's early access price will be increased, as stated in the game page.
As always, thank you for your support, and I hope you continue to be patient with me~
