Doing a lot right now but still fully dedicated to the Asteroid Boom Project, wanted to update some info on the game before going back to track to finish it :)
I Removed the "one player" classification for the game because this is a multiplayer coop game that can be played alone, but that's not how its intended to play, so , yes you still can play it alone, yes it will be harder and not that fun (till i have time to balance it), this thing is created to be played with at least one more person.
I'm adding a lot of stuff to the complete game, but some of this will come down to the Demo also, because the demo will be have the same HUB but with only one mission to select, and no Progression.
In the complete game we will have at least 4 types of different "contracts", that will include.
Your Classical Asteroid Demolition Contracts via the joint of the Antimatter device your coursers have to deliver and the nuclear device in the stations (The Demo level its this type of mission)
Recover the Resource Contracts. This will happen in decommissioned areas or asteroids that has been marked to be destroyed by one corporation and still have resources important to other of the factions, so there will be contracts to enter there, against the time and recover the stuff before the missile hits the asteroid.
Masive Object Deviation Contracts. Some stuff just need a little nudge in order to not crash against valuable stuff, this type of contracts will land you on a 1 or 2 km spatial junk that's going to colide against something and you need to attach some explosives to it, in order to deviate it, just that... easy ah?.
Debris cloud object Recovery Contracts, sometimes blowing up stuff or let it burn against the atmosphere its not the solution, because if they do, they will "release" important, harmful, toxic... things over people. Get into the cloud of space junk, fly like a pro and find the right piece of junk that needs to be deviated outside of the orbit. Before everything begins to ignite against the atmosphere.
That' it, for now. Soon an update on the "HUB" and the real game mechanics, economics and lots more. Will leave some photos down but will come back with more next weekend.
