Hey commanders!
It's been an amazing first week of launch, and we've also got our second patch ready for you all! Today's patch is again, focused on difficulty balance and bugfixes...
[Update: I've accidently made the patch delete any in-progress runs, so sorry about that! Will be more careful for future updates.]

Patch #2 - 1.0b Changelog
Balance Changes
Appreciate everyone's feedback on difficulty! Chapter 6 is still too big of a difficulty hurdle for a lot of players in a way that feels unfair, especially since it unlocks so early!
Nerfed Tippy on CH6 from 220,000 to 160,000 target defense.
Nerfed The Star on CH6 from 200,000,000 to 150,000,000 starting target defense.
The second and third targets on The Star are also significantly reduced because of this, since it doubles every time.
I've nerfed the target defense of the two more disruptive bosses in CH6, there is already plenty to deal with while fighting these bosses!
These changes only apply for CH6 and not for Ultimate Earth, I would still like to keep that one just as challenging while I work on the new endgame content for 1.1. There was also a bug with The Star where it didn't properly give you your extra turns each time you pass the threshold as intended, this is fixed in this patch.
The Doomed World multiversal challenge has also been a common struggle for many. Although the challenge was still consistently beatable, it was a very difficult and unconventional one and has stumped a lot of players.
Nerfed Doomed World challenge, now you also get +3$ each time you defeat a target.
I've decided to give the player a little bonus while playing this challenge, some more money to help buy out your board each act every time it's cleared! You still need to play into the challenge's design to win, but this should still help make it overall easier to digest.
Other / Bugfixes
- Made it more obvious when the Multiversal Challenges unlock
- Fix losing winstreak if lost in endless mode
- Fix Weaver with Textum Major spawning Webs as if it were Warped
- Fixed edge case where Xenn's artifact block persists on a removed artifact
- Fix Book of Death not working with Warped Migo
- Fix more font issues where text was displaying incorrect fonts or fonts at the wrong scale
Keep reporting bugs! Gotta squash all of them. There's still a few tricky bugs we're hard at work trying to fix... (compendium softlock D:).
I've been brainstorming for the past few days and have already come up with some really neat ideas for new difficulty-related end-game content for the 1.1 update, excited to show off more soon!
Thanks again for all the feedback and reviews! Keep the fight going!
