Commanders,
Can you believe we’re only TWO days away from Dicevaders launching on Steam, Nintendo Switch and Switch 2?
Today, we’re showing you a Commander built around destruction…
Introducing Blood Beast
Blood Beast rewards you for making aggressive playstyle decisions - such as destroying your own units to gain more power!
Its starter perk is Insatiable Curse. Whenever you destroy a non-Token unit, you gain +1 Rage and give +10 XP to every artifact on your board. Once you have as much Rage as Hearts, you lose control and enter BEAST MODE!
Once in BEAST MODE, your Base Dice have +1 Dice Power but are automatically rolled. Cursed shop items also no longer cost a Heart and you have access to a special Blood Sacrifice spell. After three turns, your Rage resets to 0.
Here is a breakdown of the perks and artifacts available with Blood Beast:
Meat Stick (Uncommon artifact): After you score this column, give (Dice Power x 10) STR to ALL units.
Lizard Tail (Legendary artifact): When you would lose a heart, destroy this instead and gain +1 Rage and +3 Mini-Dice.
Mark of the Beast (Perk): While you are in BEAST MODE, your Base Dice always roll 6s, but no longer get extra Dice Power.
Two Wolves (Perk): While you are in BEAST MODE, double the STR gain of all units.
Blood Clot (Rare artifact): When your turn begins, spawn a Hemocyte on a random tile with +30 STR.
Rage Virus (Rare artifact): After you score this column with Base Dice, get +10 Mult. If you are in BEAST MODE, multiply your Mult by 2x.
Experience Blood Beast’s rage yourself when Dicevaders launches on September 29th.
